The DeepScheduling partners gathered in Düsseldorf for a project meeting hosted by BFI, focusing on the advancement of AI-driven scheduling solutions for steel heat treatment processes.
During the meeting, partners presented recent progress and discussed next steps in key areas such as process modelling, optimisation methods, and performance evaluation. Particular attention was given to the development of a Common Modelling Language and the definition of KPIs addressing efficiency and CO₂ reduction.
The meeting strengthened collaboration within the consortium and ensured alignment toward achieving the project’s objectives of improving resource efficiency and supporting the digital transformation of the steel industry.
